Festival children's area to be bigger and better

The Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that the Children's Area for this year's Unicoi County Apple Festival will be a centerpiece of this year's family-friendly festivities. Families are invited to enjoy a wide variety of engaging activities for children of all ages on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3-4, in downtown Erwin.Once again located in the Erwin Town Hall parking lot, the Children's Area is proudly sponsored by the Unicoi County Family YMCA and will feature an impressive lineup of attractions. Highlights include rides, inflatable structures, interactive games, face painting and numerous other activities designed to entertain and engage children while providing a safe environment for families to enjoy.All vendors participating in the Children's Area are fully insured, and every attraction will be operated by trained and qualified personnel. YMCA staff will be on-site throughout the festival to assist families and supervise activities, ensuring a safe, enjoyable and welcoming experience for all attendees."This year's Children's Area is bigger and better than ever," said Amanda Delp, executive director of the Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce.
