ETSU Martin to put on Nutcracker ballet

Nothing screams holiday spirit more than a rendition of the classic nutcracker ballet. The ETSU Martin Center will welcome "NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet" on Monday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. for a night of traditions, entertainment and memories for all ages."This production blends classical ballet with imaginative theatrical elements, offering a unique take on the beloved story," Sara Allen, director of marketing and sales at the ETSU Martin Center, wrote in an email statement. "Audiences will notice charming touches like larger-than-life puppetry, expanded character moments, and visually rich staging that brings a new warmth and humor to the traditional narrative."Talmi Entertainment's "NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet" has been touring North America for 33 years celebrating a classic story in over 100 cities."Rooted in the ballet capitals of Ukraine and Russia, Talmi Entertainment has united top-tier artists from over a dozen countries, creating a multicultural masterpiece that resonates in the hearts of Christmas audiences across generations," Allen wrote in an email statement.Allen explains that the audience can look forward to a performance filled with breathtaking artistry, stunning visuals and all the magic that makes the holidays special."NUTCRACKER! Platinum ticket buyers will receive a Nutcracker tree ornament, a collectible book as well as a a pre-show Q&A with an artist.
