Lincoln Hensley to welcome Keith Williams at next Capitol Hall residency show

Musician Lincoln Hensley will continue his residency at Capitol Hall at 7 p.m. with a performance on Thursday, Aug. 20. The entertainer spoke to The Erwin Record about how his residency has been progressing at the downtown Erwin venue. "It's been going great," Hensley said. "The crowds have been great, and they seem to be getting bigger each month." He added, "We've been having a blast!" Hensley revealed that he has a special guest for his show on Aug. 20. "Our special guest this month will be Keith Williams," Hensley said. "Keith is one of my all-time favorite vocalists and musicians. We all love playing music with him and it's sure to be a special night having him onstage with us." Hensley is also looking forward to future performances at Capitol Hall. "I hope to see this venue and our residency continue to grow each month and really become a mainstay attraction for downtown Erwin," Hensley said. "Our town has really needed a great entertainment venue for as long as I've been alive, and we finally have it with the Capitol Hall." Hensley updated fans on happenings with The Tennessee Bluegrass Band, of which he is a member. "The Tennessee Bluegrass Band has really been taking major steps this year," Hensley said. "We're working the road more than ever before. We have a major record deal on the horizon that I can't divulge too much about just yet." Hensley added the band is writing new material for an upcoming album. "We head out the next morning after our Aug. 20 Capitol Hall show for a run of shows in Pennsylvania," he said. "All in all, I'm so happy to be traveling with the guys in the band, and so thankful for them, their talent and their hard work," Hensley added.
